Liz McGirl - B.Sc (Hons) M.Ost

Liz McGirl graduated with a Master’s in Osteopathy from The British School of Osteopathy (University College of Osteopaths) in 2015, building on her BSc in Sports Medicine from the University of Glasgow.

Liz works primarily at Body Balance South Woodford but occasionally sees patients at our Hornchurch practice. She is registered as an AXA recognised provider.

She has gained experience in a variety of clinical settings, including dedicated sports injury clinics and specialist centers focused on neuromuscular diseases, notably at the Muscular Dystrophy Support Centre in Coventry. These experiences have enriched her knowledge and contributed to her adaptable treatment approach.

As part of her commitment to Continuing Professional Development, s McGirl has obtained additional qualifications in Sports Massage, Dry Needling, Exercise Rehabilitation, and Workstation Assessment.
